The Burden & The Blessing

We often ask God for blessings without fully considering the responsibility that comes with them. Many believe that God won’t give us more than we can handle, but scripture shows that He often allows us to face more than we can bear—so that we will depend on Him. Just as He allows trials to stretch our faith, He also withholds blessings when we are not yet ready to steward them. The question we must ask ourselves is: Can we truly handle what we are asking God for?
